New Labor Press is excited to announce that the national leadership and constituent organizations of the New Labor Organizing Committee have unified around a draft program of struggle to be implemented in the current period of the expanding activity and influence of New Labor. The program, inspired by historical and contemporary programs of the international revolutionary labor movement, contains seven sections:
- The Capitalist System of Exploitation
- The Six Principles of the New Labor Organizing Committee (NLOC)
- Against Poverty, Rising Cost of Living, and Worsening Conditions of Work and Life
- Against Imperialism, at Home and Abroad
- For the Rights and Organization of Workers
- Immediate Program of Struggle
- Suggested Minimum Collective Bargaining Agreement Demands
The draft program is to be used immediately to guide united front work within the class-conscious, militant, and independent labor movement, and guide the growing work of NLOC-affiliated shop organizations, workers circles, and labor contacts. To reach out to NLOC leadership with questions, suggestions, support, or criticisms of the new draft program email newlaboroc@proton.me.
